  This popular program is for ophthalmic residents and fellows in Pennsylvania to expand their education with include the practical side of the profession of ophthalmology.

  Sharon Taylor, MD will deliver a primer on why proper coding is critical and what to do with denials.  She will also include insight from an insurance industry expert.

  These free live webinars will allow interactive learning and provide self-assessment tools.  We will engage participants by using strategies of pre-post testing, case-based presentations, and online polls, and by providing materials/resources for further learning and reinforcement; time is built for Q&A and discussion.

  Join us for a day of impactful advocacy as we gather in Harrisburg for the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology's (PAO) Annual Advocacy Day on May 6th.

  This event is a unique opportunity for ophthalmologists, eye care professionals, and advocates to come together and champion the importance of eye health and vision care.

  The PAO will host a morning briefing on May 6th, before heading to the State Capitol at Milliron Goodman, 200 North Third Street, 15th Flr, Harrisburg, PA  17101. The morning briefing will begin at 8:00.

  The PAO Young Ophthalmologists Committee is sponsoring a Networking Reception for all PAO Members in town for Advocacy Day.  Please stop by this complimentary event to chat with colleagues from across the state

  A room block is held for PAO at the Hilton Harrisburg.  Full information is available in your registration confirmation email.  All participating members are eligible for full reimbursement of the hotel (and travel expenses up to $100.)  Details will be in your confirmation email.
